About Lady Tramika Taylor

"It is not happy people who are thankful;  it is thankful people who are happy."

~Author Unknown

This quote best describes the permanent smile that stays on the face of First Lady Tramika Taylor. She is active, vibrant, and grass doesn’t grow under her feet. Lady Tramika was born and raised in Rocky Mount, NC to Rev. Wayne & Lady Carolyn Hines. She is the youngest of four and she was reared in a home where love was abundant, everyone went to church and everyone sang. As her father faithfully served as a Baptist Pastor, her songbird of a mother was the glue to raising children that would be well-behaved, respectful of others and who would honor God in their living. A true church baby, she was definitely groomed for every elevation God raised her to.

Lady Tramika attended Rocky Mount City Schools and graduated from Rocky Mount Senior High in 1994.

From there, she completed collegiate studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, receiving her BS degree in Business Administration – Marketing and a minor in Communication. Her career path has led to success in HR, recruiting, and talent acquisition, and she passionately seeks to connect dynamic talent with right fit opportunities. She has also facilitated college transition workshops for graduating seniors at various colleges.

In July 2003, Lady Tramika married her Boaz and lover for life, Pastor Bradley A. Taylor and together, they are honored to be the parents of three handsome, talented and uniquely designed young men – Justin, Braylon, and Evan. As a helpmeet at home and in ministry, Lady Tramika Taylor serves the body of Christ as Worship Leader, visionary of newHERrising Women’s Ministry and is faithful in media and administration at The Reach Church, Salisbury, NC.

After God and family, singing is her first love and she counts it a true blessing to be endowed with the gift of song. She can’t imagine a world without music. Though her responsibilities are many, she girds herself with gratefulness, humility, compassion, prayer, and a servant’s mind to complete all tasks assigned.

Jeremiah 29:11-14 MSG reassures her that no matter what lies ahead, as long as she remains in the will of God, life will happen on purpose. In all things, she rests in the hands or her maker, God Almighty. Lady Taylor has undoubtedly experienced first-hand that all things are possible through Him. At every opportunity, she will ALWAYS give Him praise.
